As a stay-at-home mom I know I am contributing to the family in a way. However, there are times I wish I could help bring in some extra “fun money”. I don’t think there is a mom out there that would turn down some extra cash- whether it’s to take the kids to the zoo, to skip making dinner and eat out for a night, or a fun family vacation. That extra cash can be handy.
Here are a few creative ways that moms can make some extra cash from home or doing what they would normally be doing away!
We recently took our first flight with two kids (four and under). I have to say I was worried- ok more terrified about flying with two young kids. However, it was smooth sailing!! Here are a few things that we did to keep things stress free and relaxing!!

If you have followed me for any amount of time you know- MY KIDS NEVER SLEEP! However, I do enforce a quiet time after lunch. These allows them to relax and let their little minds rest. Plus, it allows mom to make phone calls and get some work done.
So, in an effort to encourage them to relax I have created “quiet time boxes”. I rotate these boxes every day and they get a box after lunch with an activity they have to do in their bed or room.
