When I think of Ashli, I think of that wild mama dancing in her kitchen sporting a one-piece pajamas singing at the top of her lungs. Her infectious laugh that causes you to smile no matter the morning you have endured.
That is Ashli Brehm, a high energy ball of smiles and goodness.
It’s amazing the connection you can have with someone whom you have never met. I feel like we are best friends, both having been through the trenches of motherhood. At times I can see so much of myself in her. The eye rolls at the nosey kids, the struggles to find something to feed them for dinner, and the silly girly side. I feel like we have known each other forever, yet we have never met. That is the power of Ashli Brehm!!
She is my source of goodness, kindness, hope, and energy! She inspires me every day to be a better mom, a better person, a better human!
Ashli has overcome so much with her head held high, and a smile on her face!
Ashli tackled those early parenting days with three preemie babies, not all at once. She has endured those long days at home with crying babies. She has conquered those early days of motherhood and now has three wonderful, thoughtful boys who love to run off all that boy energy in her home.
Cancer rocked the Brehm household a few years ago. Ashli, a healthy YOUNG mama was diagnosed with breast cancer out of the blue! This courageous mama, took it head on. Through rounds of treatment, radiation, surgeries, reconstruction, and so much more. She continued to dance, smile, and shop at Target from the comfort of her motorized cart. All the while, taking her readers on the journey of life alongside her.
This mom, just an average small-town Nebraska girl, has changed so many lives. She has inspired others and went out of her way, even during the hardest fight in her life, to spread goodness.
Ashli moto is “spreading goodness”, some thing I have seen day after day from her. If it’s something simple like putting a smile on another mom’s face, to organizing a breast milk drive for another cancer mom. She is changing the world.
Just an average mom, changing the lives of people she doesn’t even know.
Ashli has her own blog, Baby on the Brehm, where she highlights life’s ups and downs. She talks about her struggles as a mom, her battle with cancer, her daily fight to keep her wood floors clean, and about celebrating life to the fullest.
This month we honor Ashli as our Marvelous Mama! Her fight, her infectious laugh, and her drive to make the world a better place makes her a true inspiration to moms everywhere.
I honestly can’t put into words how much this mom, who doesn’t even know me, has changed my life. She has inspired me to chase my dreams, to dance in the kitchen with my kids, to help others. This small-town Nebraska girl is changing the world, one person at a time!
